Partick Groth and Calvin TangOn 1 January, 2025, Santa Fe Hong Kong rejoined OMNI (Overseas Moving Network International). Patrick Groth, General Manager for Hong Kong and Taiwan, shares his perspective on the market’s evolution and why this was the right time to reconnect with one of the industry’s most established networks.

Santa Fe has been part of Hong Kong’s business landscape since 1980. The market has seen significant shifts in mobility trends, creating new opportunities for international relocations. Over the past few years, there has been a clear transition from high outbound movement to a resurgence of inbound relocations.

“The landscape has changed,” Patrick explained. “We are seeing new talent flows - more professionals and senior executives choosing Hong Kong, not just from the US, but from across Southeast Asia and mainland China. Companies are establishing and expanding their international headquarters here, creating fresh demand for high-quality relocation services.”

OMNI is a highly selective network of international moving specialists,” Patrick said. “Rejoining allows us to collaborate more closely with some of the most experienced partners in the industry, ultimately benefiting our customers.”

Patrick also highlighted the importance of industry relationships in maintaining high service standards. “Global mobility is constantly evolving, and it’s essential to stay connected with the best in the industry. Being part of OMNI gives us access to valuable insights, best practices, and expertise that contribute to our ongoing improvement.”

Patrick is supported by Regional Managing Director Adam Sloan, Head of Sales and Customer Services Calvin Tang, and Santa Fe CEO Samuel Mergui. Together, they are focussed on ensuring Santa Fe remains a trusted partner in the evolving global mobility market.
