Momentous has recently invested in five new trailers to support its vehicle fleet.
The acquisitions were necessary owing to growth in European deliveries to countries where the company has yet to secure rail services.
The fleet is now regularly visiting all mainland European locations where Momentous cannot carry out the services via rail. These additions take the company’s fleet to just over 30 of which over 80% now meet with future emissions regulations. “With two more 7.5 ton vehicles due in service in September, we are looking forward and planning our needs as far in advance as possible,” said Simon Osborne, Group Managing Director. “We are seeing good savings from the latest vehicle and trailer combinations through our software monitoring.”
