The Department for Transport is asking for views on proposed changes to the Highway Code.

On 19 December, 2017 the Department for Transport (DfT) launched a consultation on plans to amend regulations and the Highway code.

The consultation asks for views on proposed changes to the Highway Code which would allow the use of remote control parking and motorway assist.

DfT says the changes will help to safely take advantage of the benefits of automated vehicles.
