Lucy Sadler from Sadler Consultants Europe GmbH has provided advance warning of a likely Euro 6 diesel low emission zone in Berlin in 2019.

The announcement follows a recent legal case.  It is likely that similar bans will be imposed in up to 30 other German cities, including Frankfurt

The UK cities of Birmingham and Leeds are expected to have Low Emission Zones by 1 January, 2020. These are called Clean Air Zones (CAZ), and are low emission zones combined with a toll for vehicles not meeting the emissions standards.
