London Mayor Sadiq Khan has today (9 April) announced that enforcement of the Direct Vision Standard for commercial vehicles and the tightening of the London-wide Low Emission Zone (LEZ) will be postponed until February 2021 owing to the COVID-19 outbreak.

The announcement will be welcomed by truck operators who have yet to upgrade their vehicles and are having difficulties obtaining the necessary equipment during the current crisis.
