Kent-based Matthew James Global Relocations has strengthened its already impressive fleet of vehicles with the addition of five brand new Mercedes-based SprintMAX low-loader vans from UK builder, Maxi Mover.
The vans, which sport the company’s distinctive MJGR livery, are fitted with the very latest Euro 6 ULEZ-compliant engines and feature aerodynamic wind-flow kits to maximise fuel efficiency and minimise pollution. The Maxi Movers are built using ultra-lightweight recyclable material, enabling an impressive 1,350kg payload and are also equipped with a number of additional safety features.
Matthew James’ Managing Director Matthew De-Machen said, “The safety specifications we have selected far exceed those required by law, such as reversing cameras and sensors, reverse warning sirens, and devices that sound when the vehicles are turning left or right. These features are becoming a standard requirement for LGV vehicles but are not yet a requirement for vans. However, we are always focussed on the safety of cyclists and pedestrians whilst working in city centres, so it follows that our vans should be fitted with the same additional safety measures and we had them all fitted.”
The new SprintMAX vans will we used for moves in the UK and on selected routes across Europe.
