The DVSA is advising HGV operators to get their vehicles MOTd in February or March to avoid a bottleneck at Authorised Test Facilities (ATFs) later in the year.

The DVSA says a lower number of tests are due to expire in February and March compared with other months and is therefore encouraging operators to reschedule tests to avoid vehicles being temporarily taken off the road until a test appointment can be arranged.
