From midnight on Saturday, 13 March, Ashford Waterbrook Inland Border Facility will close and all operations will run from the Ashford Sevington facility.
The Sevington facility is around seven minutes travel time from the Waterbrook site, which will become a contingency site.
Restrictions on entering the Netherlands
From Tuesday, 16 March, hauliers returning to the Netherlands from the UK having spent less than 48 hours in the UK no longer require a COVID-19 test.
This measure mirrors the arrangement that was agreed with France on 21 February and has been approved by the Dutch Parliament.
