Abels Moving Services has announced the promotion of Kavan McCullagh to director of sales with a focus on corporate UK domestic moving. He will be responsible for managing the business development and customer services teams.

A key focus for Kavan will be continuing the development of the company’s moving services, including the ongoing growth of Abels’ corporate UK domestic relocation service. Businesses who need to move their employees throughout the UK can appoint Abels to manage their account and all their employee moves.

Kavan joined Abels in 2004 having served in the Royal Marines and later working in leisure management. After starting as a porter and export packer, he passed Abels’ training programme, before progressing into client services and taking on a senior management role. This promotion recognises Kavan’s experience, capabilities and commitment to service excellence.

Kavan said, “This is an exciting time and I am looking forward to working with the management team to bring forward the new service developments we have been working on to help our clients. Abels has always invested in its business based on customer needs and developed services to support today’s changing market.”
