On 1 March, Emil Perushanov, one of the two directors of London-based mover Top Removals, took part in the ‘Vitality Big Half Marathon’ around the streets of East London and Greenwich.
Emil was running for Children with Cancer UK and thanks to donations from friends and colleagues managed to raise £778.25 for the charity.
Emil said, “I will be turning 40 later this year and challenged myself to participate in different charity events to celebrate. This was the first of a series of runs planned throughout 2020 and perhaps the most difficult one for me, as I only signed up three weeks before the 13-mile run and didn’t have enough time to prepare my body for the stress of running. I also didn’t have enough time to spread the word among my colleagues and friends, but I’m glad I managed to raise more than the target figure of £500.”
Top Removals runs regular scheduled services between the UK and Scandinavia and has recently added a new IVECO Euro VI road-train to its fleet.
