With 38 years of moving industry experience under his belt, Noel Glavin, who’s been with Santa Fe for the last five years, is taking on a new challenge with the company to support its agent/partner development in the UK.
Noel started his career in 1982 with a moving company primarily involved in US military movements which he said was a great baptism into the moving industry. Since then he has built his experience in a number of roles and for the last five years has supported Santa Fe’s commercial team, predominantly pricing and securing competitive business.
“I love that environment and hope that I can put some of my industry experience back into an important aspect of the Group’s development,” he said. “Our global overview for partners sits with Doug Slusher my American friend at our Jakarta office. However, with offices in 41 countries across the globe it’s a massive task. So, when I spotted the opportunity to support Doug with a specific interest in just the UK, it made perfect sense. Having visited partners in the past in the US, Australia and Europe it offered a great fit.”
Noel puts trust, integrity and his love for the moving industry as the fundamentals for long-term success in forging relationships with partners both current and those he will work with in the future.
