UK-based Business Moves Group (BMG) has appointed Stuart Thorley as regional head of sales.
In addition to a strong background in sales, Stuart has deep expertise in sustainable furniture practices. In previous roles he has developed furniture repurposing methods, organised excess stock for resale or charitable donation, and promoted the environmental benefits of reusing stock.
Stuart’s background in sustainable practices will be a key asset in his new role. Reducing, reusing and repurposing stock can cut down on carbon emissions, reduce the amount going to landfill, support charities and social causes, and result in big cost savings.
Stuart said, “I was impressed by the calibre of clients that BMG works with and the company’s commitment to sustainable practices. I’m excited to be joining the team at a time when the workplace is going through one of its biggest revolutions in decades and helping take our environmental work to the next level.”
Rachel Houghton, Managing Director at BMG added, “The appointment of Stuart is another indication of our commitment to sustainable practices. We are in a position to help our clients make huge contributions to combatting waste and climate change. Stuart’s experience will be an invaluable asset to our work.”
