JK Moving Services, North America’s largest independently owned and operated moving company, has named Dominick Simpson as Long Distance Driver of the Year.
Dominick received the award, which includes a $5,000 bonus, for his commitment to providing outstanding customer service and focus on safety, while embracing the company’s core values of care. The award was presented at JK’s annual Long Distance Driver Conference in Virginia on 4 March.
David Cox, executive vice president of Residential at JK said, “There are no more important positions in this organization than that of a long-distance driver. It’s the backbone of who we are and what we do. Every year, we honour the best of the best and this year, it is Dominick Simpson. Dominick lives JK’s values and has made our company shine, and we are honoured to recognize him.”
Dominick joined JK Moving Services in 2017 as a Class B short-haul driver and in 2018 completed the JK Class A training program to become a long-distance driver. In 2020, he worked on 76 moves, logging more than 72,000 miles in a JK truck. His commitment to providing great customer service has made him a “go-to” choice for VIP moves.
After receiving the award Dominick said, “I’m just trying to make people happy – doing a good job and not leaving the house until the customer smiles.”
