Santa Fe Relocation has announced that Runar Nilsen has been appointed the company’s new CEO with effect from January 16, 2023.
“I am very pleased that Runar Nilsen has accepted to be appointed CEO of Santa Fe Relocation,” said former CEO Yann Blandy. “With his many years of experience he has great insight in both leadership, market, and customers which is valuable in the next chapter of developing our company.”
Runar Nilsen has been deputy CEO at Santa Fe Relocation since 2019 and has co-led the transformation with Yann Blandy. “In only three years Santa Fe Relocation has gone from financial struggles into growth and profitability,” he said. “Despite significant interruptions due to COVID, Santa Fe Relocation has made great progress and now we are ready to present a new leadership team with even more industry competency and geared towards profitable growth rather than heavily focussed on restructuring.”
The new global leadership team is:
- James Gooding has become chief operating officer (COO) of MOVE and is joining the Global Leadership Team. He will continue to serve as cluster lead of the North Asia cluster and oversee agent and partner relations globally as well as MOVE operations in the USA and ESG.
- Julia Palmer has been promoted to chief human resources officer (CHRO) and will continue to serve as chief operating officer (COO) of RELO.
- Nick Malcomson: as well as his responsibilities as CFO, he is now responsible for legal and compliance, as well as vendor management and procurement.
- Olivier Jourdan: in addition to his role as CCO, he will also be responsible for customer experience and implementation.
Yann Blandy will remain with Santa Fe Relocation as executive chairman of the Board. In his new role, Yann will continue to engage directly with partners and agents as well as attend industry conferences to represent Santa Fe. Yann will also remain the executive sponsor of his existing key clients and continue as chairman of Sanelo.
