The UK Warehousing Association (UKWA) has made two senior appointments to the executive leadership team.

Edwin Morgan and Sharon Mughal joined the Association in January, Edwin as UKWA’s new policy & public affairs director, and Sharon as head of membership.

Edwin has 15 years of experience in policy, public affairs and communications, including a stint as director of policy at the Institute of Directors, the UK's longest-running membership organisation for business leaders. Sharon has spent the past 16 years working in membership roles for trade bodies, including the last four years in the temperature-controlled logistics sector, leading membership teams and driving engagement.

In further organisational changes, Debby Potts has been appointed operations director, taking on fresh responsibilities at UKWA. Meanwhile Lisa Schulze has stepped into the new role of senior relationships & sales manager.
