Interior lift protection manufacturer, Kapok 88, has launched a hygienic protective flameproof PVC cover for lift control panels and push buttons, making them much easier to clean and keep free from germs and viruses.

Passenger and goods lifts continue to be used regularly during the coronavirus pandemic, and those responsible for the cleaning and maintenance of the lifts will be looking for ways to control hygiene, reduce risk for users and keep moisture away from electrical buttons.

Richard Annable, Managing Director of Kopok 88 said, “We created the hygiene covers the day we went into lockdown, as we wanted to support our customers and wider community where we can. They have gained a lot of interest over the last few weeks, with some of our hygiene covers being sent out to Italy and Germany.”

The covers are easy to install using self-adhesive Velcro and once in place, the interior of the lift can still be wiped clean. Two standard sizes are available, which will fit the majority of standard size lifts, but bespoke sizes are available on request.
