Anna Roberts, Co-founder and CEO of SelfStorageBooker.com, the digital self-storage marketplace, has published her debut book, Home Buyer’s Essentials.

The book combines Anna’s experience as a chartered building surveyor and her 20 years’ experience in commercial and residential property, into the all-you-need-to-know guide into buying a home in England and Wales. The book will be available to buy on Amazon from Sunday, 2 March 2025.

Anna said that she realised that 33% of self storage users are in the process of moving home, and spotted a gap in the market for a handbook to support buyers throughout that journey.  The book includes 50 tips for confident house buying, and includes useful information such as understanding the purchase process, arranging surveys and identifying potential issues.

On launching the book, Anna said: “A home is one of the biggest investments someone will ever make, both financially and personally, which is why it’s so important to be as informed as possible.  The property market can be overwhelming with so much information out there from varying sources, so I was determined to publish a resource that’s both helpful and accessible.  Just one tip from this book could save readers thousands and I’m proud to play even a small part in empowering them to navigate their home buying journey with confidence.”
