AMSA honours its high achievers

The AMSA (American Moving & Storage Association) has honoured its high achieving member companies in this year’s awards.

Rachael-Fischer-LyonsHumboldt Storage & Moving, the oldest moving company in the Greater Boston area, and an agent for United Van Lines, has won the highly-coveted 2018 Moving & Storage Agent of the Year Service Excellence Award.  Humboldt was chosen from around 2,000 eligible companies.

J.E. Kelleher of Bristol, Connecticut has been named the winner of the 2018 Summit Award, presented annually by the AMSA to an outstanding industry supplier.  The company provides a range of third-party products and services to the moving industry.

Firefighting’s Finest Moving & Storage, based in Fort Worth, Texas, has been named the nation’s top Independent Moving Company for 2018.  The company has earned the award (also known as ‘the Indy’) for exceptional business growth, strong customer satisfaction and award-winning service.

Dial-A-Move Relocation Services of Aberdeen, South Dakota, has been named the winner of the 2018 Enterprise Award, presented to an outstanding small independent mover.  The company has shown a commitment to high standards by earning ProMover certification for the company.

The Young Professional Model of Excellence Award for 2018 went to Rachael Fischer Lyons, Director of Marketing and Business Development for Olympia Moving & Storage based in Watertown, Massachusetts.
