Indianapolis-based The Wheaton Group has announced the acquisition of Arpin Van Lines, making it the fourth largest van line in the US.

The Group, which also includes Wheaton Worldwide Moving, Bekins Van Lines, Stevens Worldwide Van Lines and Clark & Reid says the acquisition will further increase its capacity and improve service to its customers across the country.

Arpin Group Inc CEO, David Arpin, whose family has run Arpin Van Lines for 120 years said, “After many years of operating a successful domestic interstate van line, we believe the partnership with The Wheaton Group will make the entire network stronger and afford our agents and drivers enhanced opportunities. Our clients, which will see a seamless transition, also will benefit from more capacity and high-quality service at a time when it’s needed most in our industry.”

Arpin International Group will continue as a division of Arpin Group Inc but will have no affiliation to The Wheaton Group or Arpin Van Lines.
