Yesterday (10 June, 2020) the US Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM) announced that it is to take corrective action to consider new information from bid protests, gather facts and conduct a review of the global household goods contract awarded in April to the American Roll On Roll Off Carrier Group, Inc., of New Jersey, known as Team ARC.  Team ARC is a consortium assembled specifically to operate the US contract.

Dave Dunn, Spokesman for USTRANSCOM, said that if the corrective action is approved it will review the entire evaluation record.  “We anticipate the corrective action to be complete in the coming weeks,” he said.

The two parties that filed protests are HomeSafe Alliance LLC and Connected Global Solutions LLC.

A statement from a spokesperson for Suddath, one of the Team ARC consortium members, said: “Corrective action occurs in a substantial number of GAO [Government Accountability Office] protests where an agency determines that it would like to address potential issues in the record or raised by the protests. USTRANSCOM will re-evaluate proposals and render a new award decision.”
